How it started

We're three friends who grew up on the Gold Coast doing just about everything outside. Sunrise runs along the beach path. Gym sessions in sheds with no aircon. Weekend footy, surf checks, hinterland hikes.

And every summer, the same thing happened. By 9am the heat had already beaten us. Sessions got cut short, times went backwards, and afternoons we'd planned to spend outdoors ended up flat on the couch. Ice packs turned to water in our bags. A wet shirt was dry in ten minutes. Nothing kept up with a Queensland summer.

So we went looking for something better. We wanted a fix that fits in any bag, needs nothing but water, and works the moment you need it. That turned into Scorchers: a cooling towel you soak, wring and snap, which then pulls heat off your skin as the water evaporates, the same way sweat is meant to.

We're not a big company. We're three people who train in the same heat you do, and we built the thing we wished we'd had all along.
